Blue To Pink Desiccant Silica Gel

Blue silica gel is a moisture-absorbing, porous silicon dioxide desiccant containing cobalt chloride, which turns from deep blue (dry) to pink (saturated) to indicate, roughly at 8% moisture absorption by weight, when it needs regeneration or replacement. It can absorb up to 40% of its weight in moisture

Color Change Mechanism : The indicator changes color as the gel saturates with water vapor, turning from blue to light blue, then to pink.
